GF – DS Family - 3D and motion graphics corporate film

GF Machining Solutions presents its Die Sinking machine range, the DS Family, in a film shot at several of its sites in Switzerland, with an actor placed in a futuristic 3D set.
Bluevista filmed at several GF Machining Solutions sites in Switzerland, Geneva among them, where we set up our mobile green screen studio. The actor was filmed there, then composited into a futuristic set built in 3D animation.
A virtual screen, animated in motion graphics, completes the 3D. The machines in the range (Die Sinking, in other words sinker electrical discharge machining) were filmed in live action, so the film shows them as they are, next to the computer-generated world.
Three techniques meet in the same film: live action, 3D and motion graphics, brought together in compositing. The music was composed from several melodies, to give the film a mood of its own.
This film is one of several projects Bluevista carried out for GF Machining Solutions, alongside the “We See Big” teaser and the Core corporate film.
